Your giving doesn’t go unnoticed. Thank you for being a part of this community! It’s easy to make meaningful connections with participants and other volunteers on adventure programs and it happens all the time. Participants and staff are so thankful for all you do to help provide quality learning experiences. Check out some of the ways we celebrate!
END OF SUMMER COOKOUT
Celebrate a summer of impactful adventuring! Our cookout in September always brings volunteers who have been out with us both often and seldom – a mix of families, friends, and folks who are just getting started. It’s a great way for us to thank you for contributing to this mission and, of course, an excuse to eat grilled food and play lawn games.
Tickets are on us! Every spring, Waypoint volunteers are invited to attend a showing of Boston’s Reel Abilities Film Festival. Last year, we saw Endless Abilities at the Museum of Science followed by a panel discussion led by Eli Wolff, the Director of the Inclusive Sports Initiative.
TICKETS TO TD GARDEN
Our volunteers get the hook-up! Last fall, volunteers and guests got tickets and swag to a Boston Bruins game at TD Garden. Our community is strong and volunteers are forming lasting relationships outside of Waypoint too!
OTHER EVENTS
We host speaking engagements, indoor climbing nights, galas, workshops, social issue talks, chili-offs, and more. We’ve had guest speakers such as Dick Hoyt, Randy Pierce, and Stelios Gragoudas and our volunteers always walk away having formed deeper connections into this community and a renewed passion for adventure learning.
