What a celebration!

On Thursday March 30th, we hosted our 5th annual Spring Fundraising Party and it was one for the record books! The mood was full of celebration, community and empowerment. A vibrant group of people from all walks of life gathered at the TripAdvisor HQ in Needham, MA to celebrate Waypoint’s 6 year history all while looking forward toward a bright future.

In addition to having over 275 people in attendance, we raised a record setting $64,000 to ensure that people with disabilities and their communities continue to be impacted by these life transforming adventures. We are so thankful for the “Waypoint Family” that continues to grow and show support. As we’ve said before, it’s the passion and commitment of volunteers and donors that continues to provide Waypoint the ability to run such high quality and effective programming.

Take a minute to enjoy some pictures from the evening:

Volunteer and supporter Carl Robinson was our MC for the evening. He did a great job keeping the night on track and reminding everyone of the importance of Waypoint’s mission. Thanks Carl!

Our program theme was – “looking forward to the part you can play”, by looking back on the history.

During the event we launched the Richard and Susan Helstein Scholarship Fund. Dick and Sue provided the original seed money to get Waypoint off the ground and we are forever indebted to their kindness, generosity and leadership.
