Steven Dastous received his Bachelor’s of Science in Biomedical and Veterinary Sciences from the University of New Hampshire. While in college, he worked as an emergency medical technician as well as a camp counselor for participants with chronic illness and disorders. He transitioned from the medical field to outdoor education and worked in the adventure field for over 3 years as a professional facilitator and outdoor guide for organizations like Project Adventure, Zebra Crossings and Barbara C. Harris Center. In the spring of 2017, he hiked over 1000 miles of the Appalachian Trail. He continues to spread his love for nature and connection in every program. He is CPR/First Aid, EMT, and Wilderness First Aid certified. Steven lives in the city of Boston with his partner Steph and enjoys drinking coffee, listening to podcasts, rock climbing and exploring the great outdoors.
