The mission of Waypoint Adventure is to challenge youth and adults with disabilities to discover their purpose, talents and strengths through the transforming power of adventure.

Day Hikes

Waypoint’s hiking programs take place during a single day and in some of New England’s most beautiful woodlands and urban areas. During this adventure, you and your group will walk through the wilderness or urban environment while part of a supportive community. Like every Waypoint adventure, our hikes are centered around a central goal like communication or perseverance. Lessons may include packing a backpack, practicing Leave No Trace (LNT) principles, navigating with a map and compass, and many more. Experience the trails, streams, mountains, and wildlife of New England in a fully accessible hiking adventure!

Off-Road Wheelchairs

We make hiking fully accessible by providing a supportive team of experts, training and instruction for all learning styles, and a wide array of hiking equipment. We have extra layers to loan for cold weather, footwear, traction, hiking poles, and off-road wheelchairs for the conditions and body type that suits each individual or group. Go to our Wheelchair Rental Page for descriptions of each wheelchair or device.
